Portugal Confidential founder Greg Boegner relocated to the Algarve in 2008.  After growing up in Houston and working in Los Angeles, he found Portugal to be rich in culture and desirable in quality of life.  At the time, it was a truly a quiet corner of the world, not yet on travelers’ radar.  Launching Portugal Confidential allowed Greg to visit, experience, enjoy and share the wonders of the country, whether a centuries old castle, a charming village, an authentic café or a vibrant cosmopolitan restaurant.
